Yale Professor Receives Fourteenth Bellman Prize

Dr. Alison Galvani, a professor in the department of epidemiology of microbial diseases at the Yale School of Public Health, and co-author Dr. Timothy C. Reluga, assistant professor of mathematics and biology at Pennsylvania State University were selected by a team of experts as the winner of the fourteenth Bellman Prize for their paper “A general approach for population games with application to vaccination.” The prize is awarded every two years for the best Mathematical Biosciences paper and carries a cash prize to the authors.
